Many investors don’t fully understand how crowd funding works. Therefore I would like to show in detail one of these crowd funding internet companies, WiSeed located in France. I choose WiSeed because it is a platform fully dedicated to the point placing equity investment by selling stock. I only find two crowd funding companies dedicated to selling stock, both based in France and created recently (the second is FinanceUtile.com created at 2009). A marketing manager noticed my LinkedIn profile and sent me an email to ask about my approach to innovation, here is an extract of his message:
“I stumbled across your profile by chance and happen to read your methodology. What I find missing is “risk taking” or “an approach for radical innovation instead of incremental”. Please do not mind the critic in me, but from your experience don’t you think companies should be looking outward first to commercial pockets that they could explore and then come back to transfer of technology? I mean to ask, how many companies that you have worked with, spent time working on a radical innovation intent before deciding to engage in innovation.” by Mr. Altaf Jasnaik
I would like to share my thoughts about disruptive innovation with Wisepreneur’s readers. Continue reading »

Crowd funding allows entrepreneurs to by-pass Business Angels and Venture Capitalists, by directly asking people to invest in their companies. Continue reading »

Some of the most important features of innovative guerrilla marketing include storytelling, viral marketing, customer interaction, and buzz. Continue reading »
Last month I was working on my computer, trying to find an investor for one of my clients, while at the same time watching the Soccer World Cup 2010, I had an idea! This idea concerns the occupational retraining for the high-level sportsmen, and I would like to share this idea with Wisepreneur’s readers.
In many sports, the career of high-level sportsmen is quite short. Before the age of 40, they have to retire and find a new occupation. And this is not easy! When you lived for competitive sports for so many years, it is difficult to find new sources of motivation. Continue reading »
