We have seen many shifts in how we interact both socially and professionally in this second phase of the world wide web. From entertainment to interaction, much of what we do socially has migrated to the net and easy to access receivers. There are those that argue the pros and cons of this, and both arguments have value. Professionally, the Web 2.0 movement has mainly effected how we market and sell. Collaboration 2.0, Online Collaboration, Social Collaboration – all the buzz these days is about how interactions are making it easier for people everywhere to work together. One of the things all the chatter is about is finding ways to gain input from more people and people strive to find new forms of innovation. Another is the ability to simplify how we interact with people in an effort to make work and life more fruitful.
In the last decade change has already moved our communication methods from tethered phones, computers and faxes, to mobile devices and wireless tools. Change has taken us from one on one conversations to one to many social experiences. We speak in an abbreviated language built on the backbone of 140 character texts.
